"I'm proud to call Sue my friend, and I credit her advocacy and tenacity for keeping me alive all these years."

As a patient at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for more than four decades, I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Sue for almost that entire time. She has made a tremendous impact on my life, especially as a champion for people living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Over the years Sue has been involved in several clinical research studies to discover new treatments for people with cystic fibrosis and lung disease. These studies include CFTR modulators, which have been a significant breakthrough for CF patients like me. These medicines have made it easier to breathe, I spend less time in hospital and have a better quality of life.

If anyone can help WA become a LUNG RESEARCH SUPERPOWER, it’s Sue.

She’s all about putting patients first, looking out for what’s best for us. She’s a problem solver and always finds ways to help patients even when there are roadblocks ahead.

I'm proud to call Sue my friend, and I credit her advocacy and tenacity for keeping me alive all these years.

Patients like me are rallying behind Sue's vision and we need your support to make it a reality.
